New Music | Kanye West – Power

Here it goes. The much anticipated new video to Kanye West’s new single “Power” has dropped today. Alerady declared in advance as a painting, rather than a simple music video, one can clearly say that Mr. West did things different on this one. The video was directed by Marco Bambrilla and the style was influenced by none other than Michelangelo. Enjoi

Mastermind JAPAN x Noir Eyes Sunglasses

mastermind JAPAN gets together with NOIR Eyes on a pair of glasses as part of their Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. The sunglasses come with a black frame with several logo hits in silver on both the front and the arms of the glasses. The most interesting logo placement is on the glass itself.

XLarge x Disney “Mickey Mouse” Capsule Collection Fall 2010

For Fall 2010 XLarge once again gets together with Disney on some Mickey Mouse themed gear.I always ask myself how these collaborations work in Japan, because for some reason everybody seems to be collaborating with the very same brands in the same time frame. These past two seasons it is Mickey Mouse, so anybody from Bounty Hunter, to Supreme works on Mickey Mouse themed goods. We have seen the same happen with Dickies, Tricker’s and a couple of others. In the case of Mickey Mouse it is actually even more questionable, because most of the brands, including XLarge in this case, do not even bother doing anything with the character, and rather just take it as it is and print it on their goods, slap their logo onto it and that is all.

Nike Air Force 1 Low | Tuff Tech Pack

There exists an unbreakable “swag” when one breaks out a crispy pair of Air Force 1s…that is, until a bumbling bystander accidentally steps on one’s foot, leaving a unforgivable scuff on the now flawed toebox. That’s about to change soon; here’s a first look at the Nike Air Force 1 Low Tuff Tech Pack, a collection of four sick tonal colorways of the Air Force 1, laden with a griptape-like TUF material that will protect the shoe from scratches, scuffs, and any other bumps and bruises that may be incurred in the open road. You might’ve seen this material used in the Vans Tuff Tech Pack as well as some Supra releases, but this is a true first for the Air Force 1. Aside from the durable upper material, the tonal colorways feature black, navy blue, burgundy, and olive green, all with semi-translucent soles. So check out this first look at the AF1 Tuff Tech and start figuring out which colorways you’ll be copping when these drop.

Homemade PVC pipe speakers

None of us want the PVC pipes to be seen, but these really artistic Sea Cucumbers audio speakers by Etsy user ikymagoo surely deserve your sight. Made from PVC pipes, these pretty speakers are available in white, yellow and red colors. Read expensive, but seem simple to be tried out ourselves. Each of these PVC speakers houses a 3 inch magnesium/aluminum alloy full range driver with 3 way binding posts on back. Good to work with computers and iPods et al, the speakers have frequency response of 80-20,000 but need to be connected to a amplifier for best quality sound

Stussy | Fall/Winter 2010 | New Releases

Who would have thought, with all the talk about cut-and-sew and branching out of t-shirts and hoodies, sometimes there is a good sense of nostalgia. But let’s not mistake throwback classics for random articles of t-shirts and hoodies printed in basements that can’t quite make it. For Fall/Winter 2010, Stussy brings back the colorful and loud– everything we loved about streetwear in the nineties back to be a part of its collection. Check out the “Yates Big Stock” T-Shirt which features an over-sized Stussy logo– old school style. Also, out with the slim denim that will have bits squished uncomfortably when sitting down or with the slightest movement, Stussy cuts their blues big and loose (without having them hang low to the ground because that would be too much) this season. Other pieces that veer away from the t-shirts are the very colorful, color-blocked and print-lined hooded shell jacket, and a simple white short-sleeved button down with a slightly longer sleeve than your regular summer versions.
